Grand Hyatt Mumbai Hotel and Residences

The staff at the front office was very courteous and practical, especially the ambitious Mr Amrit, who took the extra mile to keep us satisfied... Staff were advised to introduce welcome drinks and refreshing towels during check in, keeping in mind the high temperatures ... Front office were welcoming and adaptive to our demands....so was Sarojini from the housekeeping...kudos for that... Breakfast was good with lots of varieties, especial mention to chef Neeraj Tyagi and Sandeep...The F&B Manager Mr Dube was very welcoming and helpful.

Everything was good except we had booked this hotel so that we could do a bit of swimming. However, this was not possible at the main pool area because it had been blocked off for wedding bookings. Whilst we were allocated to swimming at the residence poolside, the hotel should make it clear that the poolside is not available on their website or with booking.com.

The staffs were extremely helpful at the hotel, I have originally checked out of the hotel a couple of days ago after my business trip and left my suitcases with bell service at the hotel while I went on holiday at different cities, I returned back to Mumbai at 8:30am and my flight home was scheduled at 1:30am that evening, therefore I booked a room to stay during the day. I checked into the hotel at 9am, was told room was most likely unavailable till the official check in time at 3:00pm. So I went out to do more sight seeing during the morning and was back in the hotel by 1:30pm. I was greeted by bell service staffs at the front door to let me know not only a room has already been arranged, my luggages have also been moved into the room already so that I can start repacking for my international trip!

This is a first class hotel, no doubt about it! Spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely professional and couldn’t be more helpful (special shout out to Sismal in the club lounge ). Location is near the airport which is fine but away from main areas to visit but cabs are cheap and it doesn’t take long to get anywhere! All round a lovely stay with great breakfast and club lounge!

Great location if you need to be in the vicinity of the airport. We got to the airport in under 10 mins at 6AM! Great property. Staff are very attentive and polite. We asked to get our room a bit early because we needed to dress for an event and they were able to give us the room which helped us a lot! :) The room is well equipped with everything you need for a super comfortable stay. Even at the time of checkout early in the morning they were ready and quick so we could catch out flight on time. Will definitely come back to stay at the Grand Hyatt again!
